Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Complete refund except for processing costs

Processing Time: 5-7 working days

Processing Fee: €50 for credit card payments

Conditions: Must be submitted in written form through email or by telephone

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half of the total cost of the charter

Processing Time: 7-10 working days

Processing Fee: €25 deducted from the refund amount

Conditions: A valid reason is necessary; administrative fees apply

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: Refunds are not issued

Exception: We may review emergency situations

Alternative: Credit for a future charter may be given at our discretion

Conditions: Supportive documents required for emergency cases

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Your safety is our priority. When charter cruises are considered unsafe by our certified captain due to weather, we offer various choices:

  • Full Refund: If scheduling another date is not feasible
  • Reschedule: Shift your rental to an alternate date without extra charges
  • Charter Credit: Get a credit good for one year from your original rental date

Weather Assessment Protocol

Our weather evaluation includes:

  • Analyzing wind speeds and directions
  • Observing wave height and ocean conditions
  • Forecasting visibility and expected rainfall
  • Adhering to Coast Guard notifications and cautions
  • Evaluating safety by our professional captain

Decision Timing: We determine weather-related cancellations not later than 4 hours ahead of the planned departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Instances

We empathize with unexpected medical urgencies. The following cases might be eligible for exceptional consideration:

  • Abrupt illness or injury demanding hospitalization
  • A loss within the immediate family
  • Unanticipated military duty or summons
  • Necessary court presence due to a legal obligation
  • Catastrophic events affecting travel

Required Documentation

For processing special case refunds, kindly present:

  • A medical statement or confirmation from a hospital
  • Death notification (when relevant)
  • Official military orders
  • Legal summons or demands to serve on a jury
  • Governmental travel warnings or state of emergency announcements

Processing: We handle refunds for emergencies within 3-5 business days once we receive valid documentations.

Operational Cancellations

Mechanical Troubles

If the committed yacht faces mechanical issues that remain unsolved:

  • Alternate Vessel: We will try to supply a comparable substitute
  • Full Refund: When no such alternative can be arranged
  • Partial Refund: If the substitute yacht has different rates
  • Compensation: We may provide further compensation for the inconvenience suffered

Crew Shortage

In the unusual event that we can't supply a certified crew:

  • We will attempt to find a replacement crew if possible
  • A full refund if the yacht rental can't proceed
  • An opportunity to reschedule at no extra charge

Refund Methods

We issue refunds via the same mode of payment as used at the time of booking:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

€50 fee for orders cancelled more than 72 hours before

Bank Transfer Handling

€25 charge for all refunds done via bank transfers

International Transactions

Added charges may apply for funds transferred beyond domestic borders

Charter Credits

Scenarios for Credit Issuance

In certain cases, we may offer charter credits instead of monetary refunds:

  • Cancellations close to the charter date (under 24 hours)
  • Cancellations due to weather concerns
  • Requests to voluntarily move your charter
  • Disruptions caused by operational issues

Credit Specifications

  • Validity Period: One year from the date it is given
  • Non-Transferable: Credits cannot be passed on to others
  • Worth: Equivalent to the full value of the charter; processing fees excluded
  • Application: May be used against any available yacht rental
  • Expiration: Credits are not extendable past the 12-month period

Refunds for Incomplete Services

Service Disruptions

Should your yacht rental be interrupted or curtailed due to reasons we can control:

  • Reimbursement calculated based on the unused portion of the service
  • Credit for a comparable future yacht rental
  • Complimentary offerings or upgrades as compensation

Interruptions Caused by Guests

If a rental is ended early because of guest actions or breach of safety guidelines:

  • No reimbursement for the remaining rental time
  • The full rental amount is still due
  • Possible extra fees may be incurred

Resolving Disputes

Should you have objections to a refund judgment, you have the option to:

  • Seek a reassessment by our management
  • Submit further proof or explanations
  • Consult consumer protection entities
  • Pursue legal recourse following jurisdictional laws

Our team will acknowledge your request within one day, assess it against our policy, provide judgment within two days, and conduct any approved refunds within the outlined periods.

  • All applications for refunds must be presented in written form
  • Refunds are returned in € irrespective of the original payment currency
  • We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance
  • This policy may be updated with a month's notice
  • Refunds are subject to governing taxes and legal regulations
